Went home from work yesterday and tried the new cookie I had made on Sunday and was disappointed to find that it was already getting hard. The only thing that I can think of is it has to be the nuts in it. Maybe they drain the cookie of moisture?? I will try it again, but this time without the nuts to see if there is a difference.

If there is, I guess cookies with nuts will be special order until I can actually get a place with a kitchen.

It was not the highlight of my Monday, that's for sure!
